Profile

Mr. Munikumar Reddy originally belongs to Tirupati, a famous temple town in South India, which is revered as one of the holiest and most sacred place by hindus worldwide. He received his PhD in Biomolecular science from KIST (UST), Seoul, South Korea in the year 2008. During his PhD, he lived in Seoul for more than 5 years. He has some wonderful memories and considers it as his second home. After finishing PhD, he went to Netherlands to pursue his first post-doctoral fellowship at Leiden/Amsterdam center for drug research (LACDR), Leiden University, where his research topic was hERG cardiotoxicity. He did his second post-doctoral fellowship in the pharmacy department of University of Sydney, Australia (MKP-1 inhibitors and upregulators). Before joining PharmCADD, he worked as a computational consultant and has a vast experience of working in a number of drug discovery projects. His main interests are in structure and ligand based drug design, Pharmacophore modeling, Virtual screening, Homology modeling, denova design, QSAR and others. Apart from science, his hobbies are cooking, travelling, riding bicycle, watching movies and photography. He is interested in sports and plays table tennis and cricket in his spare time.
