Jaeyoung Shin

Profile

Shin, Jaeyoung received a PhD in biomedical science from Max Planck Institute for heart and lung research. After obtaining his PhD, he continued at MPI as a scientist before moving to the central research platform of university medicine Mainz, Germany. In the focus of work are components of the ubiquitome and Kinome in the development of cancer. He moved to Czech Republic and principal investigator at International Clinical Research Center of St. Anne's University Hospital in Brno (FNUSA-ICRC). His research focused mainly on investigating the impact of the 3D organoid on the targeted therapeutic response and small molecule kinase inhibitors with a view to identifying potential targets to improve therapeutic response. After working ICRC, he joined PharmCADD. He is working Bioassay team. When not at work, he enjoys playing tennis, Kendo and spending time with his family.
