Profile

Siva completed his Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences (B.Pharm) and Master's in Bioinformatics (M.Tech) from India. He did his Doctorate in Structural Bioinformatics with major focusing on designing and validating peptide based inhibitors for targeting Anit-apoptotic proteins for Breast Cancer treatment (a combination of Computational and Experimental techniques) from SASTRA University, India. Before starting his doctoral research, he was teaching core bioinformatics subjects to the engineering students for bachelor and master level. After his doctorate, he joined as a postdoctoral researcher in Konkuk University, Seoul with major focusing on reaction mechanism studies for Enzyme Engineering using QM/MM approaches. Before joining PharmCADD, he worked on Covalent and Non-covalent PLPro inhibitors for Deubiquitinases as cancer targets and its application on COVID-19 during his postdoctoral associate in MaxPlanck Institute for Dynamics of Complex Technical Systems, Germany. During his free time, he likes to watch movies of different languages and interested in listening to talks related to science and politics.
